The all conquering snooker player Yau Yat-Kiu (Adam Cheng) took everyone by surprise when he suddenly retired from the snooker world. Yat-Kiu set up a difficult snooker game in his restaurant, and whoever could solve the game could become his disciple. Kiu met Kan Tse-Him (Patrick Tang) by chance who happened to be his long-lost best friend's son. Tse-Him was also a snooker maniac and when he solved the game, Yat-Kiu accepted him as his disciple and taught him the techniques of snooker. This came as huge disappointment to his daughter Yau Ka-Kan (Niki Chow) who had always wanted to learn from her father and follow his footsteps.

In the end..... both master and disciple came to settle their scores on a snooker-table....
